The Wards are some of our closest friends and they are missionaries with Word of Life Fellowship Canada, working at the Word of Life Bible Institute. Since they are faith-supported this necessitates fairly frequent family portraits for their prayer cards. For their most recent family shoot we headed to Harrison Park here in Owen Sound and despite being a little chilly, we got some great pictures.

I was able to get some portraits during a playdate with some friends the other day. Abel, Marleigh and Isaac are so adorable and despite a few challenging moments, (it is amazing how silly a photographer will be to get a smile!) we were sucessful in getting some shots!
We got to hang out with brothers Caleb & Isaiah in park here in Owen Sound. These two cuties did really well despite it being a sweltering day out! Definitely brothers when there is wrestling involved in getting pictures taken 🙂
It was a pleasure to get some portraits for Madelyn and her family on the shore of Georgian Bay. It was a beautiful day and location with a beautiful baby girl!
So much fun to do another shoot for Miss Abbey. I have been privilaged to be able to do her portraits since she was born and this was my favourite by far! Big two-year-old girl now she was having fun posing for the camera in her various outfits. Happy 2nd Birthday Abbey!
We have been so thankful for the much-needed rain the past few days but it doesn’t make for the best outdoor family photos! There was a perfect break in the rain for me to take pictures for friends of ours.
I was working at the Word of Life Bible Institute when Matt and Kelly-Ann met and started dating. This year they will be married for five years and they welcomed their second child, Gideon right after we had our daughter.
It was fun to do the pictures in Meaford since I had helped with the photo shoot for Matt’s ministry team in Meaford years ago.
Thanks for letting me capture some memories for your sweet little family!
Last week we rode the Waterloo Central Railway for our son Caleb’s birthday. He is obsessed with trains. No two-ways about it! We headed to Waterloo and had a wonderful time doing the round trip from Waterloo Station to St. Jacobs. It was a beautiful day and the ride was wonderful.
The car we rode in had open windows so Caleb was able to hang his head out to look down the track and we were able to enjoy a cool breeze as we traveled. The staff are all volunteer and they looked like they really enjoy their work. Thanks to the Waterloo Central Railway for a great family day!
